Today we are taking the bus to Nazca.  We were picked up in 2 tiny taxis for the short trip into Ica where the bus station is.

 

We are booked on the Cruz del Sur double bus.  We have the first row on the upper level.  Great vantage from here!!

 

 

 

The driver jockeys for position on the road.  He hangs to the left to see how many vehicles are in front of him and if anyone is coming towards us.  Some of these passes are a bit too close in my opinion 😉

 

 

 

We see these little shed type things along the road.  They seem to be in marked out sections.  I have no idea what they are.

 

 

Chicken is big big business in Peru.  We have seen these white tent type chicken houses every time we are on a bus.

 

 

 

Still lots of wide open spaces.  Very hot out there!

 

 

 

 

These are some of the homes we see along the way too.  We feel very fortunate!
